Geneva Arystan

Geneva Arystan is a Kazakh native living in Los Angeles. Geneva is primarily a writer and conceptual artist with a text-based medium. She was named Author of the Year 2015 in Vox Populi literary magazine in Switzerland and chosen as the Spotlight Author of the Year in Ink Magazine 2016 Edition in Paris. Her exhibition Three People Ago at Allgorithim Gallery will be showcasing multiple canvases and prints with her poetry pieces from her upcoming poetry collection of the same name. Her work explores the transformation of identity through moments of human intimacy. Geneva Arystan holds a BA in Culture, Criticism and Curation from Central Saint Martin’s University in London and an MFA in Creative Writing from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
